These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) outline the policies and expectations for all services provided by Cleaning by Design (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By booking a service, you agree to the following:

1. Services Provided

We offer luxury housekeeping, resets, and styling refresh services as described on our website.

Service inclusions vary by package. Any additional tasks outside the listed scope may require approval and may incur an additional fee.

We reserve the right to decline requests that fall outside safe, reasonable, or standard housekeeping practices.

2. Pricing

All pricing is based on:

  • the size of the residence

  • the chosen service tier

  • optional enhancements

  • additional tasks requested

  • time and labor required

Final pricing will be confirmed prior to your scheduled appointment.

Taxes or additional fees may apply where required.

3. Appointment Scheduling

Clients may book through our website or directly by email.

Once a request is submitted, we will contact you to:

  • confirm availability

  • finalize timing

  • review any enhancements

  • confirm access to the residence

Appointments are not guaranteed until confirmed by us.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that schedules change.

To respect our team’s time, the following policies apply:

  • Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a fee.

  • If we arrive and cannot access the residence, the appointment may be treated as a same-day cancellation.

Any exceptions are at our discretion.

5. Home Access & Safety

Clients are responsible for ensuring:

  • safe access to the residence

  • functional lighting, water, and ventilation

  • secure entry instructions

  • pets safely contained (if applicable)

For safety, we do not move large or heavy furniture, handle hazardous materials, or work in unsafe or unsanitary conditions.

6. Client Belongings

We treat every home with respect and care.

However, we are not responsible for damage to items that are delicate, unstable, improperly installed, or naturally fragile (e.g., glass objects, heirloom décor, artwork, loose fixtures).

If you have sensitive or high-value items, please notify us before your appointment so we can take appropriate precautions.

7. Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are unsatisfied with any portion of your service, please contact us within 24 hours and we will make every effort to address your concern promptly and professionally.

8. Liability

Cleaning by Design is insured.

Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided and does not extend to:

  • natural wear and tear

  • pre-existing damage

  • discoloration due to age or material

  • instability of items or fixtures

9. Payment

Payment is required upon completion of the service unless otherwise arranged.

We accept the payment methods listed on our website.

Late or returned payments may incur fees.

10. Changes to Services

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time.
